privacy.do, as part of the decentralize.today/dt.gl network, is run by a dedicated group of like-minded individuals with a deep-seated belief in privacy as a basic human right and in its promotion and protection.
It is a passion project for us all, a labour of love, but whilst we strive to keep our costs as low as possible, we do incur running expenses for our comms and admin that we have to cover. We do this by ourselves and through the generous support of our community benefactors.
As a privacy-focused site, we cannot justify accepting support in exchange for advertising goods and services, when we promote ad blockers etc. It would be wrong of us to accept funds from the very people we are helping exclude online, so we do rely on donations.
